My twins, Madison and Mikayla’s Hot Air Balloon 2nd Birthday party

I can’t believe my twins are 2!!! I had so much fun planning their second birthday. The hot air balloon theme could go so many different ways but I chose the vintage light pink and light blue look. I started designing the dessert table first and branched off from there with details and decor! We had the party in our backyard and all the entertainment was also going to be outside . . .we only needed a nice day. . .and the forecast said RAIN!!! At least I had a week of internal preparation for a rainy day, no letdowns! We put the sides on the tent and had a craft table ready for the kids and we were going to work with it. Well someone was looking out for me, there was a part in the clouds and the rain stopped from the time guests arrived to the time we put everything away after the party. Talk about lucky! We were able to use our bounce house and huge inflatable ball for the kids entertainment! Everything went smoothly and the kids had a great time!
